| DRE Approved
Each course has been approved by the California Department of Real Estate as being equivalent to college level courses for the purpose of qualifying for the real estate license examinations. (See approval numbers in course descriptions.)
Course Procedures
Each course consists of a college textbook. There are review questions w/ answers after each chapter. The only course that requires homework quizzes is R.E. Principles. These questions can done on the internet or by pencil and paper.
Qualify Rapidly
The Real Estate Commissioner allows that each course can be completed in as little as 2 1/2 weeks or you can take as long as 1 year.
Final Examination
There is a 100 question (multiple choice) open-book final exam required for each course. This final is administered convenient to where you live or where you work, or can be taken on-line. While 2 1/2 hours is allowed for this test, most students finish in less time. To speed things up, you can take two finals in one day if you wish.
Certificate of Completion
You must score at least 70% on the final in order to pass the course.
A Certificate of Completion is issued to you which you send to the Department of Real Estate (Sacramento) when you apply for the state license exam.
